Supported OBD2 Adapters

For the best experience, we recommend using adapters with Bluetooth 4.0+ (BLE) capabilities, as they provide better connection stability and power efficiency.

Special Vehicle Notes

While OBD2assistant supports a wide range of vehicles, there are some limitations:

  • Electric Vehicles: EV support varies by manufacturer. Tesla vehicles require special adapters.
  • Hybrid Vehicles: Most hybrid vehicles are supported for standard engine diagnostics.
  • Heavy-Duty Vehicles: Commercial trucks may use different standards (J1939) not currently supported.
