Special Vehicle Notes
While OBD2assistant supports a wide range of vehicles, there are some limitations:
- Electric Vehicles: EV support varies by manufacturer. Tesla vehicles require special adapters.
- Hybrid Vehicles: Most hybrid vehicles are supported for standard engine diagnostics.
- Heavy-Duty Vehicles: Commercial trucks may use different standards (J1939) not currently supported.
