Hardware FAQ

Will this work on my car?

Yes, if your car was made after 1996 in the US (or 2001 in EU/Asia), it is OBD2 compliant.

Do I need to buy a specific adapter?

No. We support generic ELM327 adapters found on Amazon for $10-$20. However, for faster data speeds, we recommend Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) adapters.
